Total has chosen to implement an artificial intelligence app – Oliphant – to better process formal and informal informations. This application is platform of collection, capitalization and analysis of oral reports from sales rep. The real revolution comes from the coupling of OWI’s artificial intelligence with Nuance’s Speech to Text technology, coupling whereby the Total sales rep is released from the tedious typing into the CRM.
Like its already widely deployed solutions (OWI.Mail, OWI.Chat, OWI.Self Service), an OWI.Opinion dashboard is supplied in real time, which enables sales and management to track additional indicators to those provided by the CRM (Salesforce).
GFII (French Association of Information Industry) has created a series of events dedicated to the exploration of significant trends in intelligence, knowledge management and advanced data processing. Named the “DIXIT Seminars” for Data, Information, eXperience, Intelligence and Treatment (processing), these events bring together many professionals for exchanges and conferences.
Invited to participate in the 7th edition of the DIXIT seminar on november the 4th, it was only natural for Serge Besnard (Digital Transformation Manager of the Polymer BU) and Chantal Bottelin (Digital Innovation Manager at DSI) to ask Christophe for Dany to jointly present the OWI contribution to Oliphant.
Total’s Oliphant solution has been cited in the white paper “Governance of artificial intelligence in business” published in September 2016 by the Cigref, a network of large companies whose mission is to promote digital culture as a source of innovation .
